Protect & Extend Your Glow

After Care Instructions

Proper post-treatment care is essential to protect your skin barrier and ensure maximum longevity for your results. Start with the general guidelines below, then click any treatment for its specific instructions.

General Facial Aftercare

Ideally, keep your face clean and dry for the next 12 hours after your treatment, then resume your normal wash the next morning — no need to wash your face right before you come in, since your skin will be cleansed at the start of your appointment. Avoid touching your face to prevent bacteria from entering freshly cleansed pores, and skip makeup for at least 24 hours if you are able to allow your skin to breathe. Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water to support skin renewal, especially if you have had massage. Use gentle skincare products and avoid harsh exfoliants, retinol, or active ingredients for 48 hours to prevent irritation. If you are going to be out in the sun for extended periods of time, SPF is essential to protect your skin from UV damage and maintain your facial's benefits. For the next 24 hours, avoid excessive heat, steam, or intense workouts to keep your skin calm and irritation-free if you have had any advanced treatments. If you had a late afternoon or evening facial, you may be able to skip your normal routine and allow the facial products to sit overnight and work on your skin. Follow your esthetician's recommended skincare routine to prolong and enhance your results.
